Recently some of our Year 14 students attended a conference in the Burrendale Hotel on 18th April.
The conference was organised by the Chairperson of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Councillor Rosin Mulgrew.
The event was held to showcase the services offered by the following charities: Mental Health Forum, Women’s Aid and Davina’s Ark.
The Councillor wanted to raise awareness of addictions, domestic abuse and mental health. These issues are extremely important in today’s society.
