In recognition and remembrance of Holocaust Memorial day form classes took time to watch a short film on the Kindertransport.
They had time to reflect on how the actions of a small group of upstanders who in the face of evil worked to help save the lives of many by organising the Kindertransport.
One of these upstanders was Nicholas Winton who worked with other people to help 669 children escape from the Nazis on trains.
He said ‘I just helped a little, I was in the right place at the right time.’
