Two of our Year 11 Art and Design students attended the unveiling of the commemorative ceramic plaque to mark the centenary celebrations of Northern Ireland water and the Mourne Wall. In the summer term St Mary’s Art students worked on the ‘Mourne Water gives Life’ project which celebrates 100 years of the reservoir at Silent Valley. Our pupils are produced ceramic tiles to add to the work of 14 other local schools which culminated in a large-scale ceramic mural which was unveiled in the beautiful Silent Valley.
