Year 8 visited Carrickfergus Castle recently, to consolidate their learning of the Normans in Ireland and Castles from their History lessons. Travelling from room to room within the historic site and trying on traditional dress from the 12th Century was fascinating. Taking on the different roles from within the Feudal System and handling various artefacts and weaponry was super. John De Courcy wouldn’t have had a chance against our girls!
